2026 Registration Information
WOOD DALE PARK DISTRICT IN-PERSON REGISTRATION
- Registration begins on Tuesday, April 1, and may be accomplished online here, or in-person at the Wood Dale Park District (WDPD) Recreation Complex. Click here for map and directions. For first year swimmers, a birth certificate must be submitted in-person at the WDPD to be copied and kept on-file.
- In order to receive some Shark gear & apparel purchases in time for the season, it is important to register as soon as possible. Sharks swimsuit and apparel webstores may close at a similar date.
- Practices begin at the start of Trial Week, on Tuesday night, May 26th and our first meet is Saturday, June 6th.
- Late registration may be possible, but is not guaranteed.

- Refunds will not be given after June 1, regardless of registration date.
Parent Club
The Wood Dale - Addison Sharks Parent Club is an integral part of the Sharks Swim Team. Prior to 2024, a FUNd fee was collected from each family in order to support the Parent Club to in providing team promotion, equipment, awards, food, activities, and other “perks” for the swimmers.
Due the success of past Swimathons, the $50 fee for 2026 has been WAIVED!
A Parent Club Volunteer Deposit will continue to be collected from each Shark family, however, as intended to ensure that all Sharks families participate in volunteering for the numerous roles required to facilitate each swim meet (both home and away). The deposit is 100% refundable, assuming the modest volunteer requirements are met by the end of the season. For 2026, the Refundable Volunteer Deposit is $70, preferably as a check made payable to the Wood Dale Swim Team Parent Club. A Zelle transfer may be possible as well.

What is the cost of participating in the Swim Team?
Required fees and deposits for the 2026 swim season are as follows:
- $190 per swimmer Program Fee to WDPD. A free season pass for the Wood Dale Beach Waterpark is included ($59 value)
- $70 per family REFUNDABLE Volunteer Deposit to the Parent Club
Total upfront payments - 1 swimmer: $260, OF WHICH $70 IS REFUNDABLE
Total upfront payments -2 swimmers: $450, OF WHICH $70 IS REFUNDABLE
Team swimsuits & gear
Official Sharks team suit vendor for 2026 is Kiefer Aquatics! Still under construction web store may be found here. Official team color suits or acceptable optional solid black suits may also be purchased at their store in Wheeling:

The Wheeling store will be closing at 4:45 on the following dates:

No appointment necessary for tech suit fittings during regular store hours, but we do ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before store closing time.
Official suits and solid black suits available to customize with our logo may also be found at our SwimOutlet online webstore here.
Solid black swim suits are acceptable if official team suits are unobtainable.
All swimmers are asked to wear Sharks team uniforms during meets, but they are not required. Solid black alternative suits are acceptable.
Team apparel
The same as last season, there is a Sharks apparel website. Various sweatshirts, t-shirts and sweatpants are available and may be found here. Due to production and shipping limitations, the store will close early, so order soon!
Purchases will be delivered to the Parent Club in 2 collective shipments, and will be available for pick-up at the pool during practices and meets. Shipment dates TBD
The Parent Club will make some items from the store available for purchase during home meets, but choices and sizes will be very limited.
