WOOD DALE PARK DISTRICT REGISTRATION

• Registration begins on Tuesday, April 1, and may be done online here, or in-person at the Wood Dale Park District (WDPD) Recreation Complex. Click on the map below or to the right for directions.
• First year swimmers must present their birth certificate to be copied in-person and kept on-file at the WDPD.
• A information booth will be available at the Recreation Complex on Wednesday, April 8th, from 6:00 - 8pm, and on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 am - 1pm. 
• In order to receive all available Shark gear & apparel purchases in time for the season, it is important to register as soon as possible.
• Practices begin at the start of Trial Week, on Tuesday night, May 26th, and our first meet is Saturday morning, June 6th.
• Late registration may be possible, but is not guaranteed.

• Refunds will not be given after June 1, regardless of registration date.

Parent Club

The Wood Dale - Addison Sharks Parent Club is an integral part of the Sharks Swim Team. In previous seasons, a Parent Club FUNd fee has been collected in order to support the Parent Club in providing team promotion, equipment, awards, food, activities, and other “perks” for the swimmers. Due to recent success with sponsors and fundraising, the 2026 season will not have a Parent Club FUNd fee!

The Parent Club Volunteer Deposit, however, remains in effect. The volunteer deposit is intended to ensure that all Sharks families participate in volunteering for the numerous roles required to facilitate each swim meet (both home and away). The deposit is 100% refundable, assuming the modest volunteer requirements are met by the end of the season. For 2026, the Refundable Volunteer Deposit is preferably a $70 check made payable to the Wood Dale Swim Team Parent Club, but a deposit by Zelle may also be made. The deposit and a corresponding signed agreement must be received by the Parent Club before June 6, or swimmers may be prevented from further participation.

What is the cost of participating in the Swim Team?

Required fees and deposits for the 2026 swim season are as follows:

• $190 per swimmer Program Fee to WDPD. A free season pass for the Wood Dale Beach Waterpark is included ($59 value)
• $70 per family REFUNDABLE Volunteer Deposit to the Parent Club

Total upfront payments - 1 swimmer:   $260, OF WHICH $70 IS REFUNDABLE

Total upfront payments - 2 swimmers: $450, OF WHICH $70 IS REFUNDABLE

Team swimsuits & gear 

NEW official Sharks team suit vendor for 2026 is Kiefer Aquatics! Web store may be found here (possibly under construction). Official team color suits or acceptable optional solid black suits may also be purchased at their store in Wheeling:

Retail Store Hours
Monday - Thursday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Friday & Sunday: CLOSED

No appointment necessary for tech suit fittings during regular store hours, but we do ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before store closing time.

Solid black swim suits are acceptable if official team suits are unobtainable.

Team apparel

The same as previous seasons, various sweatshirts, t-shirts and sweatpants are available for purchase on our team webstore here . The store will close in late May, so don't delay! Purchases will be delivered to the Parent Club, dates TBD for shipment; and will be available for pick-up at the pool during practices or meets.

The Parent Club will make some items from the store available for purchase during home meets, but choices and sizes will be very limited.
