WDAD TP Night 7/14/22

Shark’s TP Night 2022

Hi Shark Families!

Every summer right before B Conference we decorate each other’s houses with tons of toilet paper to celebrate the end of the season and upcoming conference meets.

Toilet papering (also called TP-ing, House Wrapping or Yard Rolling) is covering an object, usually houses (no cars or flowerbeds) with toilet paper. You usually throw numerous toilet paper rolls in such a way that they unroll in midair and thus fall on the targeted object in multiple streams to cover someone’s property in long rolls of absorbent paper.

We will meet Culvers (1347 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101). At 7:00 PM SHARP we will separate into groups, pass out maps and disband into our cars with backseats filled with toilet paper to start the TP’ing. Usually, between 5-8 houses are hit per group, and groups are usually 4-6 kids.

***Time: We will pass out maps at 7:00pm SHARP!! Please organize enough time to eat dinner/dessert, organize drivers, etc.***

***If you do NOT want your house TP’d, Fill out the form: Opt Out TP Night by 7pm on Monday, July 11th ***

TP Rules: TP only the houses and trees. Chalk is okay but for driveways and sidewalks.

Remember:

  • Toilet paper (at least 4-8 rolls per person)
  • Bug spray
  • Waters to stay hydrated
  • Tape for posters and flashlights! Please remind swimmers to bring the posters they decorated.

Please remember to be safe, responsible, and respectful while representing the Frogs Swim and Dive Team during TP Night!

If you have any questions Tina Siskoff or Carolyn Niehoff at the next two Home Swim meets.
