Call to Order: 6:05 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024

• 1.Carolyn Niehoff is leaving as she no longer has any children on the Shark Swim Team. Motion made to nominate Caryn Mauro as Treasurer by Mike Sampey and was seconded by Sharon Santos, all were in agreement.

• 2.There is $8018.13 in the bank account after purchase of lawn signs, rent out picnic site, Swimtopia renewal fee and sundries.

• 3. An interest in offering Scholarships is being considered and discussion ensued if this is something the Sharks would like to offer. Motion to offer $1000 in scholarships was made by Karyn Regan and seconded b Sharon Santos-O’Day, all were in agreement. It was further decided that how this will be decided, how many and amounts will be decided at the next board meeting.

• 4. DSDC requested for Wood Dale/Addison to be recordkeepers but we do not have anyone who knows the system and Carol Stream stepped up to be recordkeeper this year. Meet Manager is the system that the DSDC requires us to use and we have been using Meet Maestro. Caryn Mauro offered to learn the system.

• 5. Wood Dale parade is coming up on May 27^th, please signup on line or in person.

• 6.Swimsuits will be online with Swim Outlet which means there will no longer be a store to try on and pick up a swimsuit.

• 7.Mandatory Parent Meeting will be on May 22^nd.

• 8. Registration will open on April 1^st. Brittany will send another email with information.

• 9. Coach Baeder will return, Coach Sarah will return, Coach Abby is still checking her schedule.

• 10. Judges/Referee/Starter training will be held in Bloomingdale on May 29^th and June 4^th.

• 11. Picnic will be on June 26^th at the Hidden Lake Forest Preserve in Downers Grove the same place as last year.

• 12. Brittany requested guidelines or description for refundable volunteer fee to pass on to her staff if any registering parents have questions on it. Bocce pizzeria will be running Concession stand this year. Will see about getting flyers to the Wood Dale schools and information in the Wood Dale newsletter.

• 13. Motion to adjourn by Mike Sampey and seconded by Caryn Mauro.

Board Meetings are held on the 3^rd Tuesday of each month. The next Board Meeting will be on April 16^th, 2024.
