PLEASE read the entire email- lots on important info
Hello all! I have lots of important information to share and would like to make sure everyone is informed so please bear with me and read all.
B CONFERENCE
Saturday is our B conference meet that we are hosting. Thank you to everyone that has volunteered! Please make sure to check in at the volunteer table when you arrive. If you signed up by last Wednesday, the 12th, you will receive a super cool, one of a kind, tshirt. All kids will receive one as well.
**The weather is not looking good for us, unfortunately. At this point rain/storms are predicted on and off all day. Due to this being a conference meet, it will not get canceled. Per the DSDC bylaws and the decisions of our park district, we will be waiting out any rain delays rather than try to reschedule for the next day. This could make the meet very long. If for some reason you have to leave the meet before it's completion, please make sure you inform the coaches and our volunteer coordinator, Lee Obrzut, PRIOR to your leaving. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that Mother Nature cooperates with us!!
****We need extra tents for the meet as we'd like to make sure all teams' coaches are covered and our kids are covered as much as possible as well. Please bring a tent (or drop off if you will not be there) if you have one that we could borrow.THANK YOU!
BANQUET
Banquet will be held at Community. Inside the rec center for the awards, dinner and slideshow and then fun in the pool afterwards. Please return the attached form by Friday the 28th to Alyssa Seider. The sooner the better so we can get a count for food amounts. (Everyone is invited to bring a dessert to share but the dinner and drinks will be provided). The awards will start promptly at 5:00pm, doors open at 4:00pm.
SLIDE SHOW
Please send your pictures to Doe Mitchell. [email protected] She will be putting together the show and it will only be as great as we make it! The kids LOVE to see themselves in the show. Any pictures are welcome- practice, meets, TP night, etc. Also, if you take pictures at A conference, please send her those pictures right away after the meet so that she may include those in the show which is the next day.
TP NIGHT & CULVERS EAT OUT NIGHT FUNDRAISER
Tonight is our Eat Out fundraiser at Culvers from 4p-8p. This is where everyone will get their maps and posters for TPing. Maps will be handed out at 7pm. Please remember the TPing rules- TP, posters and chalk only. TP only the trees, shrubs, etc....no cars. If the weather does not cooperate for us tonight, TP night may be rescheduled for next week. That is still to be determined.
MAGIC WATERS
Tickets to Magic Waters are free to all swimmers and divers. If you would like any additional tickets for friends and family members, they will be at our discounted rate of $13 for 3yrs and over and $5 for 1-2yrs. Make sure to fill out your forms and turn them in, along with payment if applicable, to Vicky Windbiel. (Tickets will not be handed out without payment received.)

TRIBUTE TO BRANDON
I was asked to send out an invitation a few days ago regarding a special event happening as a tribute to our former Frog swimmer, Brandon Schonert, that passed away on the 4th. His parents would like me to explain that they would really like to scale down the attendance to just people that knew Brandon and their family. They did not realize how big it could get and are becoming overwhelmed. Please respect their wishes during this terribly difficult time.
I may have forgotten some stuff, there really is a lot. Hopefully I included all. Thanks for taking the time to read thru!!! Any questions, please feel free to contact me or the chair people for the different events.
