RSVP for conference meets

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to read the letter from the coaches that explains how the conference meets work.  Please RSVP your availability for both of those meets by 7pm Tuesday, 7/11 (hey, isn't it free slurpie day at 7-11 stores?).  Remember, it is the coaches that decide who swims in which meet, but they do need to know everyone's availability before final decisions are made.

 

We are B Conference Hosts

We will be hosting B conference this year.  Due to the large number of volunteers it takes to run a home conference meet, all families are expected to volunteer that day, even if your kids are not swimming that meet.  Many of our older (11 and up) kids that are not swimming in that meet love to come and help out too!  There are several jobs that they can help with.  Please sign up to volunteer ASAP.  Any questions, please contact Lee Obrzut   [email protected]

Lombard ad books

Lombard is hosting A Conference this year and will be selling ad books with their heat sheets. (We are not this year, we are only selling heat sheets at our meet)  If you would like to place an ad for your business or a good luck ad for your swimmer, I have attached the information sheet.

 

Banquet

I wanted to share the results of the vote regarding banquet.  In order for the booster club to pay for the additional expense of $1600 to have the banquet at Rockin Jump, according to our team's bylaws, the vote needed to pass with no less than 66% of the votes in agreement. Since the vote was 54%, it did not pass. So the banquet will be at Community.
