PICTURE DAY (Frogathon canceled)

Picture Day is tomorrow morning, 8am.  Bring your picture order form as well as the payment.  We will do the individual pictures first and then the team picture. For the large team picture we could use a few parents to help organize the kids in a line by height. (Dive and Swim will take separate pictures)

 

After the pictures all age groups are expected to stay.  The coaches have decided to do a small mock meet since we will have all age groups together and then after that some fun games. Practice will end at 11am.

 

VOLUNTEERS

Thank you to everyone that has signed up to volunteer!  This team could not exist without your help!!  We are still looking for many volunteers for this Wednesday's home meet.  The volunteer form was unlocked again so that you may still sign up.  

 

In order to get the full $80 retainer returned to you, we require at least 8 volunteer sessions. With that being said, please know that if everyone worked ONLY 8 sessions, there would be no way possible to run meets as we would not have enough volunteers, we would need a lot more kids/families on the team to spread those sessions out.  As a bonus to those families that put in more than 8 sessions, they will receive a raffle ticket, one for each extra session, for our end of the season drawing at the awards banquet.  Prize= 1 free registration for next year. About a $165 value. I won it last year, believe me it was nice to not pay so much at registration this spring!!!

 

IMPORTANT RSVP INFO!!

We DO NOT have a meet this Saturday, we have a BYE.  Our next meet (after this wednesday's) will be Wednesday, 6/28.  Since Coach Annalise will be out of town for a few days at a college orientation from Sunday-Tuesday, the deadline to RSVP for the 6/28 meet is THIS SATURDAY, 6/24 at NOON.  

 

We had many families that did not RSVP for last Saturday's meet and for the meet this Wednesday.  We once again ask, PLEASE RSVP by the deadline EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO ATTEND, we need to know yes or no.  If you do not check either, it shows up as unknown and the coaches spend time contacting families which does not need to happen.  It already takes them hours to work out the meet entries for each meet.  

 

Please honor those RSVP's unless an EMERGENCY comes up.  We had a few families that did not attend the last meet even though the RSVP said yes.  We also had some kids/families that came to the meet very late without any notice to the coaches. All of this caused a lot of chaotic last minute changes and the canceling of a few of our relays and almost delayed the start of the meet.  Several kids/parents were left upset which is not fair. Please be kind to the coaches and fellow teammates.

 

 

SLIDESHOW

Still looking for a parent that would be interested in putting together our 2017 season slideshow that will be shown at the awards banquet. Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions.  Reminder- anyone that chairs an extra event during the season (like the slideshow) will have their $25 Frog Fund Fee returned to them as a thank you.
