Hi Frogs families,

I sent a text out the other day but just wanted to make sure that everyone receives this information.  Today there is a Park District Board Committee meeting at Community at 4:30pm.  They will be discussing our team and how long the park district plans to keep the team going after this 2017 season. Will they put a cap on the number of years?  Will they keep the team going no matter how long it takes to build a new facility?  These were questions that were asked at our last meeting but weren't able to be answered since all commissioners were not present. 

At this point, the park district and commissioners have expressed a desire to build a new facility but there aren't any plans in place as of yet.  It takes at LEAST 4+ years from start to finish.  When will the planning start?  What are the first steps to take?  What can our swim parents do to help support the building of a new facility?  

At the meeting today we will hopefully get some answers to our questions.  Unfortunately I am not able to be at the meeting and a couple other Frog board members cannot as well.  We need for other swim parents to go today to ask questions and show support for the team. Please attend if you are able.
