Conference TP Night – RESCHEDULED for Thursday, July 23rd  (Coordinator:  Jeff Mitchell) – Plan on teaming up with other swimmers and TP’ing our friend’s homes.  On Thursday, July the 23rd.  This is the rain date for the TP night that was rained out last week.  Come to STAV’s Kitchen (655 W Lake Street ) to start.  Maps of swimmer houses have been created to “clustered” or “group” team members homes that are close to each other.  In a couple of hours of fun, we will be able to decorate everyone’s homes.  In preparation for this event- we also need to create posters / sighs to leave behind for each family.  Remember - TP houses and trees ONLY - Chalk for Sidewalks and driveways - No Cars - Don't trample the flower gardens and bushes.  Extra Poster board is available at practices this week if you have time to color a few more posters for the yards / houses.  

Conference  A – Saturday7/25 at Wood Dale Pool.-  Take Irving Park Rd east to Wood Dale Rd.,  Wood sDale Rd. north to Commercial (just over the tracks). West on Commercial1/2 block  to pool entrance. 165 W Commercial St, Wood Dale, IL 60191 - 630-595-0333.  We are still waiting on final meet schedule from Wood Dale, and will send updates as soon as the information is available.

Car Wash  (Event Owner:  Doris Mitchell) – This SUNDAY- July 12, 2015 – Parking Lot of Links & Tees on Lake Street. This is a car wash staffed by the Frogs and their families.  We are working out the remaining details with the management at Links N Tees on Lake Street - but please plan on spending a couple of hours with the team washing cars and having a great time.  All profits from this event go straight to the Frogs expenses.
20150708 Update – The carwash is a GO for Sunday – Come help us wash cars for donations to the team.  If you can’t wash cars – please plan on dropping off snacks, waters, etc, or by helping to advertise and hold advertisement posters next to Lake Street to urge more cars to attend the cars, sell chocolate bars, or a number of other.   In the past, we have NOT had enough older kids to help wash cars – and the 8 and under kids have a hard time washing the bigger SUVs and trucks.   Please contact Doris Mitchell and RSVP on the Frogs Calendar.  We are also looking for people to bring hoses, water spray nozzles etc….
20150721 Update – Car wash brought in $544 in donations minus $79.41 in expenses for a Profit of $464.59

World's Finest Chocolates (Event Owner:  Doris Mitchell)- Doris Mitchell has sent an e.mail to all active Frogs families about a volunteer Chocolate fund raiser.  We have done sales such as this in the past and the profit for the team works out to be 50% of the items sold.  The Frog Board has invested in 30 boxes of chocolate - and if all bars are sold - we will make $900 in profit.  The original announcement e.mail is posted on the Main Frogs practice this morning - we have handed out 13 boxes.  If you have not already done so - and if you are able to help - please contact D oris Mitchell about checking out a box or two and selling as much as you can.
20150708 Update – All boxes of chocolates have been allocated to families. For those of you who have already taken boxes – please try to have the chocolate sold by Monday, July 13th at practice.  If you have sold your chocolates before this time – please contact Doris directly to arrange turning over your cash.  Let’s work hard to wrap up the selling of these chocolates – thanks to all who have agreed to help.
20150721 Update – We reached our goal and sold the 30 boxes of Chocolates – Profit of $900.00

Eat Out Nights  We have been contacted by a number of organizations who have helped the Frogs in previous years and are trying to confirm dates for "Eat Out" profit sharing evening. Stav's on Lake Street, Culvers on Lake and Lombard Road, and Oberweis in Schaumburg (where Coach G also works) are all being finalized.  We are running out of time in the summer schedule - but I am hoping that all 3 will work out.
20150708 Update -  Culver’s Eat In profit sharing evening is being confirmed for Thursday July 16th.  This is the evening of the Conference TP night.  We are planning on starting the evening at Culvers so show up early and help make money for the Frogs.   Stav’s has agreed to host an Eat-In profit sharing day on July 21st  This is an ALL DAY event at Stavs. sMore information regarding each of these evenings will be distributed.

20150721 Update STAV’s Kitchen  (Event Owner:  Ismini Stavropoulos)​ – Today is the STAV’s Kitchen Eat Out Day for the Frogs – (flyer is attached)  Come support the Frogs and have a great meal at STAV’s Kitchen - 655 W. Lake St, Addison, 630.628.1100 - 10:30am - 9:00pm.  Information for this event was sent in separate e.mails and Frogs Texts earlier this week.

Team Banquet  (Event Owner:  Alyssa Seider) - Sunday July 26th  5:00pm – 9:00pm - Set aside Sunday after Conference A for our annual team banquet. This is a great way to wrap up the season as we honor our swimmers and have dinner. This year the banquet will be held at Community pool and which will be open to swim for the team members and their families.  More information coming soon.
20150708 Update – The final vendor for food and beverage is being narrowed down and once this has been completed, we will be able to post the price per guest for the banquet.  Contact Alyssa Seider if you have questions.
20150721 Update – Banquet ticket forms were distributed in the mail slots – however the original prices were incorrect.  The original forms listed Adults for $12 and Kids for $10.  Updated forms reflected the true $9 for adults and $8 for kids.  Please get your money and order information to Alyssa ASAP.  As communicated via Frog Text and other e.mail messages, out final head count is due to vendor at end of day Tuesday.  Don’t miss out.  Also – per the Banquet form – families with last name A-M should bring beverages (water, pop, etc….) and families with last names N-Z should bring Desserts to the banquet.   

Magic Waters (Event Owner:  Ismini Stavropoulos) - Monday July 27th - Planning for our post season Magic Waters team trip is under way.  Again this year - we (the board) will be taking care of the tickets for the swim team - and we have negotiated a VERY good rate on behalf of the families who would like to come along.  This is always a great time for everyone to relax and enjoy the Magic Waters water park in Rockford, IL -http://www.magicwaterswaterpark.com/

20150721 Update – Rate Update for Magic Waters – Ages 3 and up:  $11.50 each.  Ages 1 and 2 year $5.00  12 month and below Free.    Pick up your Magic Waters ticket orders via from Ismimi Stavropoulos ([email protected])  between now and the end of the Banquet.

20150721 Update – Some families have reported the link to the Apparel store prompts them for a Login – the ID is “addison” the Password is “frogs”  All lower case.

Family Fund and Volunteer Fund Checks – If you have not given your $25 Family Fund payment and/or your Volunteer Fund payment to one of the board - please take care of this ASAP.  Notices were sent to all families with open balances  this week
