2nd Annual Mid-Season Event

The 2nd Annual Mid-Season Event for 2024 is a picnic party! Save the date! All Sharks families welcome! Please RSVP so we may plan accordingly. Sunday, June 23, beginning at 2:00pm, at Hidden Lake Forest Preserve, Downers Grove. Location map may be found here. The entrance to Hidden Lake is on Route 53, just south of Butterfield Rd (Rt 63). More detailed directions inside the preserve to come soon, but an interactive map of the site may be found here. There will be complimentary hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, water, pop, and lemonade, courtesy of the Parent Club. Please sign up to bring salads, sides, and desserts to share. Feel free to bring any additional dish that you wish to. There will be a charcoal grill at our disposal. Alcohol is not permitted on forest preserve property. There will be games and activities (volleyball, tug-of-war, karaoke?), more details to come soon. If you're willing to bring any games, sports equipment or entertainment equipment that you think will be useful, please contact an Executive Board member here. Hidden Lake has indoor restrooms, and our pavilion will have electrical power. There is also: Hiking: There are trails all along the lake and property. Boating: If you have your own kayak, canoe, or any other small boat you can carry from your car to the lake, you can buy a $5 Private Watercraft permit for the day here Fishing: Those 16 and older must have a valid Illinois fishing license. Fishing licenses can be purchased here. Volunteer jobs to help with set-up will be posted soon. Set-up will be at 1:00. Assistance with clean-up will be greatly appreciated. Individual swimmer photos will be taken during morning practice time. A composite team photo will be made from the individual pictures. Swimmers should make sure to wear their uniforms or team colors suits. Swimmers will not be in the pool before photos, so hair and make-up preparations won't be ruined. Families will be given the option to purchase various photo packages, prices TBD by the photography company, Visual Image Photography (VIP). More info about VIP may be found here. |

Ordering for 2024 Conference T-shirts is now available here Enter the email address you wish for the order. Then click on "Lookup Player" The site will reflect that "No matches found" . This is normal, as rosters haven't been submitted yet. Under "Would you like to add a new player", enter your Sharks name and birth year, and then click "Create Player" Click on items you wish to purchase. Enter "Wood Dale - Addison" in the "Team for back logo (TOWN NAME)" text box. Click on "Click here to select player" and select your Shark Deadline for orders is Monday, June 17th, so DON'T DELAY! Orders will be delivered to the team as one mass order July 8th, and available to pick-up on TP night July 10th. Note: Shirts will not be personalized/individualized with your Sharks name, except as part of the entire roster on the back of the EVERY shirt ordered by EVERY Sharks family.
